Hannah Green The place is relaxed but very nice and clean, all tools are in sealed packages for pedicures, etc. the times I’ve been I’ve been seen in a very reasonable amount of time, and wasn’t kept there forever. The staff is kind and Steven is very good at what he does. I’ve been to many nail salons in New Orleans and Baton Rouge trying to find a tech that could work with my small nail shape and recommend what would look best on my hands and Steven was able to do that. I can honestly say the set I got today has been my favorite set to date, from any shop.

Elissa Allen I have been here a few times before and it was usually okay not exceptional. Today was no exception. I specifically asked multiple times if the style I wanted was possible on my natural nails and if the tech was able to do the design. She began by filing a lot even though I said I wanted round but as almond as possible and long as possible. She proceeded to use a base color that was too light for the style. I said from the very first finger it was too light. After a full three coats on both hands I said fine. But the manager insisted they finally use a darker pink base on top which resulted in a streaky finish. By this point I knew her ability level wasn’t going to be able to do my style. The manager insisted, no that’s an easier style. I said it was okay if she couldn’t do it I wouldn’t get it. What I wanted vs. what I got, I decided to forgo the flowers on one hand and she took it upon herself to not add them to the other at all. Probably just another miscommunication. The manager came to finish the French tip because the technician wasn’t doing it evenly. Neither one of them achieved the style. I didn’t get a hand massage or warm towel because at this point we’re going on two hours and I have a wedding to go to. They still charged me $42 for the shellac and insisted this was fair because I wasn’t charged for the French design. I’m just so irritated because I asked many times and wouldn’t have gotten this at all if they couldn’t do it. I have no way of getting it redone before my event and will have to get it redone before next weekend. I’m really disappointed and just wish they would’ve actually been fair and not charged me for this waste of time, especially considering my mom and I got pedicures which were fine that we still paid for. I’ve had a black French on my natural nails in shellac before at other places, I know that is possible and how good it can look.

Heather Gaston The overall end is I would not go back here. I had received a gift certificate from my husband to this salon as a surprise for a manicure and pedicure. I scheduled a 1:45 appointment online. I arrived at 1:15 all the techs were busy I informed the man who asked what services I wanted and that I had a gift certificate. I was early for a 1:45 manicure and pedicure. He said to check in via my phone number and have a seat. After doing this and sitting in their lobby, he and another technician began speaking in a foreign language (if youve ever been to a salon you know what I mean) seemingly annoyed. I figured it was because I was early and had a gift certificate and they were busy. I get walked to my chair at 1:45 so appointment time. The technician was professional and I informed her of my service choices. The technician was good except for cuticles. Whether because she was rushing or what I am not sure but I left with 3 bleeding toes from her cuticle cutting and 2 bleeding and ripped fingers. The lady seemed annoyed when at checkout I presented her my gift certificate. I paid with the gift certificate and left a tip even though my fingers and toes were ripped open and I left the salon. While getting my hands done after my pedicure some older ladies came in for their 2:30 appointments and were escorted to their pedicure chairs. There were no technicians available and eventually they got angry and left due to not getting service. During this time the male technician apologized and said due to walk ins their appointments were delayed. There was another group of ladies and a small child who also had appointments and as I knew no walk-ins were seen between them and I but I dont know about the others in the salon before my arrival. It seemed as though they were trying to blame their clients for the lack of technicians and planning which I did not take as kind or professional. Pros: The salon was clean The services were priced fairly The tools were all sterilized and clean Cons: The scheduling was non existent The salon was to busy to deal with clients in a timely manner Parking was lacking I left bleeding from a rushed technician service

Angel Barnes They do a decent job, but definitely pricey. I got a refill (with gel) and a toe polish CHANGE..not pedicure (with gel) and my total was $110. They also charge an extra $20 to get french tips.

Alexis Kongmani First timer. No wait at 5pm on a Thursday. They close at 7. Clean salon with newer equipment and modern finishings. Requested the basic pedicure ($38 according to the service book they let you select from) with deep French tip gel polish. I had gel polish on my toes already. Total turned out to be $78! You decide if the $40 up charge justifies the drill removal and design… Service was ok, conversation only enough to ask what I want and if I like the french curve. Basic experience overall but overpriced for just a pedi. Tipped $10 on top, would’ve tipped more if it weren’t for the unexplained $40 up charge. Grand total $88. I usually go to V’s Nails on Highland road, they’re amazing, but it’s an older salon. V’s is more affordable, great service and design talent, but they usually have a wait. Just came to Ocean Nails because it’s closer to where I live now. Will most likely stick to V’s.

Jenn Ocken Make sure you check the price. I love the service and quality of work but I went in for an acrylic refill and was charged for a full set $40. There was no extra spa treatment on hands or arms. They didn’t cut back cuticles or anything. Just a nail trim, fill and new polish. According to the website it should have been $30.

Bridgette Hardy, Real Estate Professional Zaza Nail Boutique has been my go to nail salon since they opened. The ambience in the salon is top notch with a relaxing and chic atmosphere. The nail technicians are incredible especially Nancy. They are always welcoming and professional, making me feel comfortable every time I visit the salon. Scheduling an appointment is easy with booking online or calling and I do not have to wait once I arrive for my appointment. Zaza offers high-quality service and I highly recommend the salon.

Natalie Bartee Helen and Nick were so great today. And the receptionist, Hung, did my designs and he was so patient and nice. I love coming here especially with the bar options available while I’m getting pampered. The eyebrow waxing service was also quick and easy. Helen was great.

Alexis Crawford The first time I tried this place: it was ok. I wasn’t completely satisfied but they passed. The lady was nice and she listened to my concerns. Oh but the SECOND time…it took forever for them to seat me. The receptionist started off by drilling off my gel polish for a refill. The guy actually did my nails RUSHED! He also messed up the integrity of the shape I had when I told him SQUARE SQUARE. Some of my corners were chipped from him filming so hard. When I told him, he say yes yes I know, and proceeded to file even more which made them worse. He filed them so much they turned to coffin on some of my nails, which didn’t look right because I have short nails. Also, when he did begin to polish, he DID NOT USE PRIMER!!! Whatever it was was some cloudy white substance that was flying everywhere! When I put my hands in the dryer, he said no come on. So I knew then it wasn’t primer. I was in a Rush and didn’t have time to go back and forth with them. MY NAILS ARE ALREADY CHIPPING AND I GOT THEM DONE YESTERDAY. Yesterday I noticed one was chipped and today another. On top of all that….nobody..and I mean NO ONE offered me anything to drink. Maybe it depends on who does your nails, but I will NOT be back. Pretty place for nothing.

Iriyon Ferguson Went here yesterday for Short French tip full set with color powder and had a great experience. Got exactly what I wanted, very clean environment, great staff. I been looking for a good nail tech to always do my nails. I Will definitely be making this my permanent nail salon. The lady who did my nails did a great job on shaping as well.

Destiny _xx I always go to V’s nails when I need my nails done! The service here is very fast and the staff are very welcoming. I am always satisfied with the end result of my nails. I also got my brows waxed and I absolutely love them! I will definitely be back! ;)

Myeisha Holliday I always feel so welcomed when I go see them. I’m always satisfied when I leave out the shop. I get something to drink, I earn points, the prices are affordable. Everyone in there is friendly and very nice. I love them highly recommended. Ben is amazing owner and he made sure all his customers are always happy. Diana is my nail tech. Caroline Bourgeois Vs Nails always does a great job!! Ive been here many times and have hardly ever left disappointed in my nail tech. I always get dips with tips put on, and usually choose an almond or oval shape. My only complaint is that sometimes there are very long wait times. You sit waiting thinking it wont be long, and it can end up being over an hour long wait. This happens often. BUT If you call ahead and ask how busy it is, you can gauge how long it will be and even go during a less busy time. They do so well that i think its worth it. The prices are decent, not too high but they definitely not low either.

Sarah Theriot Bichonne nail spa is one of the best nail salons in Baton Rouge! I have been coming here for several of years, and have always been satisfied. The quality of work done on my nails is great, the staff is very professional, scheduling appointments is easy, and everything is kept clean! Unlike other salons, they also allow walk-ins on Sundays. They location is also very convenient as it is near Perkins Rowe and the Mall of Louisiana. Overall, Bichonne is the perfect place to come to get nails done with friends or for a special occasion, such as prom, weddings, and more!

Darrinnia Pierce The technician was not interested in doing what I asked for, nails were uneven, polish wasn’t coated correctly, her attitude was poor as I was correcting her politely. I wouldn’t come back. My husband loves this place if you go for a pedicure and manicure ask for Olivia ONLY!

Maleak Dugas Love! Love! Love! This place. Ms Lena always takes very good care of my hands, toes and eyebrows. Full set acrylic gel square square with that lovely curve in the nails. Gets them perfect every time. Takes her time and the atmosphere all around is perfect. My 4 year old comes with me every time. And there’s no problems. I found my forever nail salon.

Rachel Zimmerman Had a lovely experience at this salon. I was just passing through and stopped to get a dip manicure. Mike did a very professional job paying close attention to details and making everything look perfect. I’ve seriously never had someone do such a thorough job on my nails! Everyone was kind and friendly, I highly recommend!

Dominique Brooks This is place is very clean. They wipe down furniture, booths etc after every customer. Just yesterday I went to go get my nails did from another salon which Costed me $45 and I didn’t like the outcome. I tried this place this morning. I showed the male nail tech a picture of the shape and style I wanted. I really love the fact that he took time out to take my previous set off and made sure that my new set was perfect and that I was satisfied before he moved on to the next step. I love this place this will be my new nail home. The outcome was beautiful. I love my nails. :)

I could go to any nail shop near my he, but i choose to drive an hour. I have recommended several people from my community go there, and they have all been, MORE THAN, satisfied & have remained loyal clients, such as myself. Nail art and expertise are unmatched!!!

Aleen Rodriguez I had a wonderful experience at this salon! I did walk-in and it only took one hour to have beautiful nails. My nail tech was very detail oriented and gentle. My nails came out exactly how I asked for. The salon was very pretty and clean. I look forward to coming back. It was $70 for a full-set with nail tips, almond shape, and french tip. Very happy with my nails!

Rasaland Williams Every time I visit the salon they’re so nice! Never a sad face, always willing to please. They are like my second family. When “Acadian” comes in they give me great service. I came in today twice for nails and my nails-they even cha ged my nail color for me with no problem.

Kaela smith Absolutely in love with this place. Its now my favorite. She did so well and made sure i liked them throughout the process. She made great conversation and we had a good time. i even went to the bank to go get more money cs i NEEDED to tip because she did so well. Her name was Ann i think thats how you spell it. I got almond french tip, light nude base . i took my man too for a basic manicure, definitely recommend. Sunny did his. Total was 90 minus the 10% discount for new customers. Alone mine was $65 and the basic manicure was 25. Great prices!! dont think twice book.

Brittany Bryant I was running short on time and needed my nails done. I decided to stop at the nail shop down the street to save time and ended up falling in LOVE. Quality work. Amazing service. Relaxing atmosphere. Nice and welcoming employees. I enjoyed them so much I brought my daughters. They also approve! You know kids are very honest ;) If you havent tried them, you must!

Jennifer Dong Got there and they weren’t busy. Sat me down quick and hurried to get my nails done. Barely any prep, hurriedly put on the nail tips. I’m big on shaping, so when i wasn’t even asked how they were before they started painting. I was not a fan. hands were uneven and very slanted. I asked for medium almond. Afterwards, I had to hurry and get home to try and file at them. I wanted just milky white acrylic powder with a top coat, but they wouldn’t do that and instead told me that they only do a clear base with gel.

Tori Anderson Ridiculously priced. I got a short french tip with a line under each nail and was charged $75. I usually go to a nail tech but thought since it’s a simple French a salon would be cheaper. I was definitely wrong. I’ve gotten a short acrylic manicure with a more complex design on every nail for the same price. My nails look like it should cost $60 and the white on the tip is thin and see through in some spots.

Claire White Getting my nails done here is always a great experience! Jolie and her staff are very kind and make sure that the quality of their work is carried out at its best. The salon is very clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. There are lots of color options and services to choose from. This salon is open on Sundays which is very handy because most nail and lash salons are closed in Baton Rouge on that particular day of the week. The location of the salon is in a safe area which I appreciate. I definitely recommend coming here to everyone I know and you should too!

Khadijah Kaufman Ive only been in Baton Rouge for a short time and I was in desperate need of a great nail tech and salon. Since meeting Julie, I have found my nail tech with no question. Shes patient, thorough, clean, and attentive. In regards to the shop: Everyone is welcoming and professional. The shop itself is sporless and modern. They offer a wide range of services. Abby Free ABSOLUTELY LOVEDDDDD my whole experience, me and 4 of my friends went yesterday on a SUNDAY which is also awesome because most nail salons aren’t open on sundays but they are 11-5 anyways we all went and loved our nails so so much. tina the owner and her staff were very kind and did awesome work and we got there around 1:15 and left about 3:45 which is awesome timing for 4 people and a child and 2 of us got pedicures that were awesome !!!! My nails are the one with white french tip i also go white french tip on my toes and it costs a total of 103 for me which is awesome price compared to other salons!!!!!! highly recommend HAUS OF NAILS!!

Amy Washington I had an amazing experience at Tims for my birthday and I highly recommend them. I arrived early and was seen right away by Sam for my pedicure. He did an amazing job cleaning up my toes and used great pressure during the leg massage. Then, Tim did my gel manicure and eyebrow wax and I couldnt be happier with the results. My nails were shaped and painted perfectly and he did a great job cleaning up my cuticles without being rough or making them bleed. My eyebrow wax was perfect as well, not too thin and nicely shaped. I will definitely be coming back again!

Shar Paige Enjoyed our pedicures today 10/10 for relaxation, professionalism & atmosphere. Enjoyed milk & honey pedicure for $60 each - steep price but I enjoyed the extended services I paid for: hot stone massage, paraffin wax & champagne. Not a local but this was a place I will visit every time I’m visiting Baton Rouge.

Jiyanne Taylor What I want vs what I got. I can say I’m satisfied with this place granted it is only my second time going but the environment is welcoming and the service is amazing. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because the first time I came it took 3 people to get the hearts correct on my nails which wasn’t a problem just became irritated slightly. I do recommend this place and will be back.

LaTonya Seaberry Tuesday was my first time every going to Adore nails and I had a great experience. Everyone was so attentive and accommodating. I really had the spa experience. The colors they offer were all so pretty. I was able to get my manicure and Pedicure done at the same time which was wonderful for me. And my eyebrows came out the best Ive ever had them done. It was worth every penny.

NeNe I had the absolute best experience here on Mothers day! Wendy did my pedicure and it was literally the best experience I’ve ever had. Not only was my pedicure PERFECT, the entire staff was friendly and made me feel welcomed. They also told me the price of my service as soon as I chose what I wanted versus waiting until the end of service. I live 2 hrs away but I’m 100% coming back. This experience was an absolute 10/10 and a perfect Mother’s Day gift!

Grace Siegfried I needed a last-minute pedicure while I was in town, and Tammy was able to fit me in without hesitation. Her friendly attitude and incredible attention to detail made the experience exceptional. The spa itself is absolutely beautiful, and the prices are very reasonable. I’ll definitely be returning—and asking for Tammy again!
